The UVM Health Network is excited to share that the University of Vermont Medical Center has been named as one of the best hospitals for pediatric care in the country! In a list compiled by Money Magazine, UVM Medical Center ranked 16 of all the hospitals in the country and additionally received an excellent price transparency rating.

The list took into account many factors to compile its ultimate rating for each hospital. Mortality, Safety, Readmission, and Patient Experience were the most important qualities, but Timely and Effective Care was also considered. It also had both a patient and federal rating and the UVM Medical Center scored 4 stars in each. The fact that the UVM Medical Center ranked so highly in all of these categories is a testament to all of the great people working there.
